Owner of Dibaba Handcrafted in ZA Olly Mandlaza says Dibaba – which is Kasi slang mostly used in the townships by people when they greet each other – is a Proudly South African ready-to-wear street label that was launched in 2019 during the SA Fashion Week designer pop-up at Sandton City.
Dibaba’s garments, which are locally sourced, include items such as headwear, T-shirts, shorts and more.
The Simply Slowveld and Didaba brands have a shared vision in terms of how they represent themselves and how they want their customers to experience their brands. They thus benefit from sharing the same retail space at Graskop Gorge Lift Co.
