BIG SWING AND ZIPLINE CLOSED FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE: 30 OCTOBER TO 3 NOVEMBER
Please note that the Graskop Gorge Lift Co's Big Swing and Zipline will be closed for routine maintenance, ahead of the festive season, on 30 October, 31 October, 1 November and 2 November. Both activities will re-open on Friday, 3 November.
BUT, THERE’S STILL PLENTY TO DO AT GGLC:
The viewing lift and forest experience, suspension bridge, restaurants, shops and craft centre will be open during this time!
The Graskop Gorge Lift Company is a CASHLESS facility.
The Big Swing is one of the world’s highest cable gorge swings and launches off the top of a waterfall.
The experience is very different to a bungee-jump because participants freefall for 70m before the jump rope pulls them into a high-speed arch and they swing from one side of the gorge to the other. When falling, they reach 140km/h in three seconds
For an additional cost, you can capture your jump on camera. Cost includes USB flash drive.
